Jungle Gym Slim

My favorite way to stay slim and trim is to climb through these woods like a jungle gym. The fallen trees look like meatless dinosaurs backbones. Gymnastically navigating them keeps me on my tone. Lean, on the move, the woods have their own green groove. Every day of the week, they challenge me to climb their peak. Muddy slopes and rocky deer trails, sogging through cattails and decoding burnt out rail trails. Not with a compass or a cellular device, navigation comes from instinct, with that, I'm nice. This particular wooded lot, I thought was once inhabited by the Susquehannock. However, to my delight, I think I researched the Muncy to be prevalent here. In this basin in Lycoming County, the round rocks are full in bounty. Tens of thousands of years of rocks tumbling in the waters. An ode to glaciers of long ago. I call this location "Place of Many Stone Eggs." To my investigation I speak when I found that Muncy refers to "from the rocky land." Jungle Gyms are everywhere: West Branch of the Susquehanna River, Lycoming County, PA. Muncy of the Lenape from North Central Susquehanna Valley.
