Neighbroski and I attended the Eagles Superbowl parade and the diversity on display was no charade. Philly opened it’s arms to the frenzied masses. It was a victory lap with more epiphanies than preacher’s masses. Billionaire row was no where in sight. This win was for the people and we watched the Eagles take flight. They swooped up Broad St. and to the Art Museum. Rocky was the sentry, overseeing the people’s gentry. Dr.J posted up on the block with steadfast grit of a city that is solid as a rock. Billy Penn couldn’t have scripted it any better, the Eagle is this cities greatest love letter. A parade of givers and no takers, with more equality than the most righteous Quakers. This was an inclusive exclusive hosted by regular folks with no power to be abusive or intrusive to others. Fly like Eagles on the wings of your brothers. A classic case of mind your business and I’ll mind mine as we band together to celebrate every single time. To deny the efforts of the feeling of inclusion would simply be an erroneous delusion.
