The D.R. has that Blue Zone flow, a place to regroup and grow. The company of friends and the love of my life gave me the grandiose to hitch my horse for six nites. The beaches are spectacular, I tried my espanol with my best vernacular. White rice and black beans, malanga covered in pinto beans. The resort’s buffet epuipped with well tipped servers on the way with overflowing drink trays. What a beautiful place here in the Punta Cana, where the partying reveled with zero dramas. My most fascinating take away from the D.R. was the level of fitness of the grounds crew. Each morning, climbing the palms with machetes in hand, to prune branches so we could tan. The fitness was inspiring. Wheelbarrows loaded with coconuts, the staff on point as the humidity brang that warmth that detoxed our pores. Hence, making room for more stiff pours. The mamajuana and Presidente Light continued to slap into each of the six nites. Friends who are family, sitting together poolside, table side, always by our side, made our D.R. adventure outstanding!
