Posted up on Peter Francisco Rd. in Buckingham County, Virginia as the hot spring air brought the heat. The trees...leaveless, no reprieve through the trees and the spring warmth can bring a player to his knees. But, this James Hardens the body, makes the sweat drench and the mind and body endure. Down the red dirt roads where General Lee famously retreated to Appomattox Court House and signed to done deal records with U. Grant accepting. Out here, where the single wide trailers straddle roads of history, where Mr. Francisco undeniably made his mark on the Red Coats a.k.a. The Virginia Hercules. He single-handedly threw his wrath into the fray of many Revolutionary fracas'. The road, bearing his name, along the path of freedom for the masses. His efforts against the British would inspire the fight for freedom for all, starting 1861 (to me). Out of the woods from a day of labor and sweat stenched attire - I retired to change my shirt. So happens, I found the opportunity to represent Ted's Deli in my intent. East Orange St., Lancaster, PA, Ted's smile always greets me. The kitchen is ready to feed weary eyed travelers. Just like the junction of Crumptown Rd. and Francisco Rd. in Buckingham County - the offering plate is present. Reppin' East Orange at the intersection in New Store, VA, is my contribution to this history. Dually noted, I referenced two wars and one deli that serves the best empanadas my taste buds ever buddied with.
