I took this photo with the two P's on my mind: Poise and Patience. I imagine the scene, radio in the location. Possibly calling in air support inches from his prone position. But, the Poise and Patience are called to the forefront. Out here, in the middle of the artillery, accepting the challenge. Quick decisions based on composure, discipline and self control. I have to remind myself, in times of doubt...call in the big deuce (2)P + P. He has the wits about him to sit and call shots while next to a big blue, undetonated number 2 next to his boot laces. Trusting his training, believing in leadership, believing in the mission.
