I found this guy in the dust and dirt alongside the guardrails of Route 31, Bedford County PA. With the snow pack of the Laurel Highlands bearing down, he is a survivor of countless PennDOT plows. Buried and stomped into the embankment. He is a man of all ages, dressed to the "T", all weathered. Made of wealth and health. Collar popped and on point, nearest the county line, Somerset/Bedford. New Baltimore, PA.
I stood with Mr. Popped Collar along the bank. I could tell on his face, he wanted me to hear something he had to say. his industry stood the test of time. I found him, he found me. He brought himself out of the dirt, dusted his shoulders and continued his hustle. I call him Dapper Dan. The Man With the Plan. These parts of PA stood the test of time. George Washington galloped these ridges, there is life in the French and Indian War reenactments.
