Ocean Motion

There is something about the flow of this photo. It puts the motion in my ocean. Poolside, with fluids and defined lines. The contour lines showing shoals and shelves, the Whiteclaw buoys out in the deepest depths. Enticing the wifey to play an old fashioned game of Battleship on the swim up bar. This is Summer 2020, Covid pandemic backstrokes and cannonballs, all in all, safe in our backyard. In our "Cohort", pivoting toward facemasked hopefulness.

Topographics and hydrographics, numbers and graph grids, telegraphing the maneuvers all for the movers and groovers. Ship to shore, drop the anchor and float the rowboats to the sandy beaches for the Claws and Genesee and Rum Punchers. Surfs up, good day to get caught on a sea breeze and raft along the current. Get off the grid, behind the radar screen, no shots fired, no sight lines and no coordinates called. Reflection on pool life amidst the Pandemic.
