Down in the Belly of the Beast: FLA., Covid 2020. Covid 19 Pandemic, U.S.A. We are masks on 100%, in the heat of the blazing sun, about to embark on an epic migration Northbound with my main dude, Dante. Gonna log this forever in my blog log, a legendary tale of the forces combining to join together, reunite in PA. From palm trees to pine trees. These thoughts became more thoughtful as I drove down Interstate 95, South with family by my side, somewhere between my Subaru Crosstrek crossing Cathead Creek and Champney River in McIntosh Co., GA. The scenery was flowing alongside my Crosstrek, the sky was bluer, the greenfields were greener and the puffy clouds were puffy and bloated. The beauty of the natural world was my shapeshifting copilot, as well as Melinda. My vision was enhanced by the polarized lenses of my Ray Bans. Trying to keep my vision clear to pound out the rest of this topsy turvy year. Rest assured, Dante's arrival in PA. will be a blessing and begin the next chapter for me and my family and for all those who want to turn the next page with us. Blessings and love to all family and friends during our epic "pivot". Life hinges on our relationships with others, thank goodness we are blessed with love. Face mask on: I'm dappin all those who see me, 100.
Side bar: This was written a few weeks ago (July 27) as cases of Covid surged in Florida.
The Embassy Suites is the playground right now. It's emptiness and cleanliness is comforting. Hilton brand is outstanding in its partnership with staying ahead of sanitizing. The last occupants of our room checked out July 18, I can rest assured.
