January 2021/Ski Lodge

The ski lodge is crankin'. In accordance with strict CDC, Covid protocol, proper measures are in place to ensure the safety of all guests. The midnight buffet is eliminated until further notice, no double dipping into the Marzetti's ranch dip when wine and triscuits and cheese and veggies are served after the lifts shut down for the nite. Let me tell you, the Lodge has faced one of its wackiest years on record. I've looked back through the notes in the guest book and nothing compares to January 2021. From midnight rescues of snowbound skiers to battling the elements on the late nite rounds to having the beer truck almost deconstruct the overhang of the service entrance, the guests are more amped than ever before. They are amped for a cure, ready to bust through the front door, to laugh, eat, drink, ski.....repeat. To throw off the shackles of Covid 19 and get an injection of vaccine. They are keeping us on our toes, round the clock vigilance focused on due diligence. Diligently providing comfort and recreation, putting a capital "H" on our hospitality. We wouldn't have it any other way! We work together to provide what we love in the Lodge: comradery, compassion and consumption bring the nite its charm and when the stars shoot across the clear nite sky, we note the differences of all the snowflakes* and rest assured that differences make us better. All are welcome, no matter the skill level. Bring your thoughts to the table, not just an empty plate.
