Go Green

There are a few places out there in the green beyond that really kick into my feels. Places where the dirt is dirtier, where the grass is greenier, where the turkeys perch in branches to get a clearier view. Places where ferns float across the forest floors, tulip poplars fly to the sky. I have three post ups in mind that appeal to my third eye. three mental locations that provide me the opportunity to get right with myself and Hallelujah in thought when I walk the roads there. These wooded lots give me tranquility, they fill my headphones with lo-fi beats and I march to drums of babbling creeks.

  1. Donnally Mills, PA

  2. Wildcat Road

  3. Union Bridge, MD

Lost in my thoughts, the time slows, like Neo in the Matrix, all shows out and I see all the peacocking and showboating, like being at a show in Disneyworld. But, as I watch the show of beauty in these wooded fields, I don't have to pay the Mickey Tax. Free of charge, almost in my own backyard. If Mom nature accepted gratuity, I would be gracious. So, I take these pictures and right these words, the peace these places give me, is enough....I give my word....written in pen, dive me off the deep end. Bound to find more, the forest floor is forever to explore. Thank goodness, Amen. Grateful for these opportunities.
