Depth Charges

94th St., oceanfront O.C.M.D., looking out from the 18th floor. This isn't your average game of Battleship where friends call in coordinates and fire shots against one another. I'm thinkin this is a throwback to WWII era, when the German U-Boats crept along the U.S. Atlantic Coast. The remnants of the watch towers are still standing along the shores of Delaware. I'm picturing sending out the Carriers, the Fleets, the Intelligence to gather data...making seismic discoveries and detonating flash bang bombs under the waters of the Atlantic Shelf to dismantle the radar screens of the U-Boat infestation. Depth charges, black-outs along the coast to allow the Naval vessels to facilitate crippling blows against the bows and sterns of intrusion. The effort is coordinated and strategic and tactical and filled with perseverance. The Union of the Nation must uphold the core values of liberty for all. in perfect unison, we win. All the time.
