Chalet Vibe

This chalet, in northern PA, reminds me of a place I watched on TV while a Hungry Man was on my TV tray. Take a close look, the stairway from the loft resembles backstage at the Muppet Show. The stars descending to the stage from their dressing rooms: Sly Stallone, Steve Martin, Elton John, Harry Belafonte, Johnny Cash, Candice Bergen, Lynda Carter, Rita Moreno..... Classic style, classic entertainment. All the while, the skits at the chalet are centered on a young man, in a button up, taming wildlife. Bears, deers, Pap Pap with beers. Fire pits and bikes and solos sung on the swing. Ball and glove, remixed with love. He has classic style, dripped in argyle all while wildlife crisscrosses in the fields above. He's got the right firepit demeanor, his activity level has him leaner than most, he's the perfect host for a time like this. An MC for all ages, timeless like the deer tracks in the mud, like the turkey foot scratching through the leaves, like wild bobcats posted along the trails. The whispering pines up along Pine Creek, they squeak and speak at the top of their peaks. Swaying in the breeze, this dude is cool as a bees knees. He fits anywhere, shirt buttons pop in the suns glare. Out here in Lycoming County, in a wilderness of green, catalog model for L.L. Bean. The bears nod in approval.
