I call it: The Magnolia Lawn Airstrip. the flight of way through the narrow paths of Brownstown. Between the narrows of PennDOT forest along 222, Northbound and B-Town. Practicing aerial tactics and blue yonder maneuvers beyond wild comprehension, the wild birds take flight and gather their tail feathers while weaving this green space. Upward and onward, through the thick and the thin air, through the fog and when the bats take over at dusk, we watch the flights of fancy all day. Blue Jays, Cardinals (Cardi's), Woodpeckers, Wrens, Finches, Robins. They all make ready and radio for landing space along the bird feeder on the tarmac. Birds of different feathers CAN flock together when the logistics are on the radar screen, the Magnolia Lawn is level for all flights paths. They coexist and make ready for a turn on the flight line and a turn to spread wings atop the flight deck. As the Magnolia flowers prepare the path with undeniable scent. Come one, come all, the Airspace is always open for business. My hospitality is my pleasure. Fly on, fly high. Ground control is on the ready, to guide the flyers to the feeder. All are welcome to peck at the Tabernacle.
