I feel like I know these guys for a long time. A little slice of nostalgic advertising that brings me to thoughts of the 70's and early 80's. The blinking neon sign of Anthony's Liquors at 3300 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, MD. reminds me of family. I have thoughts of my Uncles at get togethers, my Dad, my grandpa's. They always seem larger than life and filled with smiles that can light up the night sky. They are tremendous in stature and always remind me of good times in the past and straight ahead. What they have is my attention and when I sit and listen as they skip, hand in hand, I am able to recognize the growth given from fellowship. I see them, like a marriage, good times and bad. Holding each other's hair as the other finds the toilet bowl at the end of a night. Always ready to go to war with one another. They showcase the best in fine wines and the worst of the beers. But, all mixed together, those differences don't matter so much.
