2020 Staring Contest

2020 is a challenge. Trying my darndest to stare it down, make it look away. Make it blink first, make it buckle like a tightened belt loop, make it sweat from anticipation of my next move. Gotta formulate a next move so we can improve, shapeshift with the times and throw a few curveballs and bend and flex like a bamboo stalk. Find new ways to get to the finish lines of all the goals drafted through the epic pandemic. Gonna turn my mentals back to the academics. Be poised and purposeful in movement. Look into its face with 2020 vision.
